       In lieu of not having an Gmfl sponsor Border War event this year, many teams are creating their own. One of these self created match-up is between the Chicago Cardinals and the Midwest Chargers. The Chargers will travel to the Chicagoland area for this game between two of the GMFL annual powerhouse teams. The game will be played at The Matteson Recreation Center, located at 20642 Matteson Ave, Matteson, Illinois. Kick Off time is at 5 p.m. cst, price of admission is five dollars.

 

 

 

The Chicago Cardinals And Soldiers Field

 

 

        The Chicago Cardinals is taking training at Soldier Field that will allow the Cardinals to work events at Soldier Field (i.e. soccer & football games and also concerts). As a fundrasier to help offset the operational cost of the team,the Cardinals teamed up with the ladies of C.O.F.F.E.E Social club and will be occuping booth 113 on the first concourse. Individual players can use this to help offset the cost of their team fees. The classes is on Wednesday & Thursday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m..A person only have to attend one class to become eligible to work any of the events. Transportation will be provided on those days.
